Perfect hotel for families

The Boat Harbour Resort is great vaue for money, it has a swimming pool, good accomodation, prompt service and perfect location, as it is not too close to the centre and hence quiet and peaceful, on the other hand close to supermarket and ammenities.

Hervey Bay itself is not too exciting, it is a bit tacky and does not have a huge array of shops/restaurants. It could have a much better infrastructure, considering the amount of tourist who go to Fraser Island. The beach is however great, as it is sheltered and perfect for kids.

convenient location to visit Fraser ismand

Whale watching tour watch= Quick Cat II : superb Frase Explorers tour 1 day : nice but a too big bus and not enought time to stop It would be nice to have more information about the restaurants in the area (elsewhere than the esplanade maybe)

Good Weekender

Bit disappointed. Thought we were having a view of the beach. Probably not worth 4 stars as led to believe.

Plenty of things to do in Hervey Bay. Great Place to have a holiday.

Quietests palce in Hervey Bay

The Boat Harbour Resort is simply the Cleanest complex I have stayed at "and I travel every week". The location makes it one of Hervey Bays quietest places to stay.

I would recommend everyone who wants to Visit Hervey Bay to consider this as an option

Clean, comfortable, well maintained grounds. nice room.

The resort was well maintained, lovely room, easy to find, clean and comfortable. Close to beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The town looked nice, but unfortunately we did not have time to sight see. Maybe next time.
