Friendly staff, lovely room, great view!
The staff were very friendly & helpfull. Even had a wack on the tennis court! Great view from the balcony! The room was beautifully presented with all the appliances you could possibly need. Very relaxing place to stay.
Grab an ice-cream cone & walk the pier! So many restaurants to choose from. Bench seats & tables the whole way along the beach which makes it easy to find the spot you want & sit & relax with some fresh prawns & oysters!

First class accommodation. However, please note comments in the next section of review.
My husband and I have travelled extensively world wide and have never been faced with 0 being taken from our bank account for 5 DAYS, as insuranace against damage to your property. This will deter me from staying with Peppers anywhere again. I will investigate whether colleagues have experienced this 0 for 5 DAYS. I am extremely dissatisfied with the practice. It is enough for it to be taken for 1 day LET ALONE 5 - NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

This place was good value for money
This place was good value for money with clean but a bit dated rooms but for the price very reasonable. Great location right next to the pier sunset at the pier a highlight.

Great place to stay!
A truly wonderful place to stay, fantastic service, very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. I definately will be staying there again.

Ok but not excellent.
I thought that there were a few things needed to just keep the place up to scratch. Things like the water pipe to the toilet in the ensuite was very noisy - but other wise quite adequate.
Hervey Bay is a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee and a walk on the beach

this motel should be demolished
Very unprofessional no staff on premise all weekend we were asked to leave our money in the cutlery drawer which we have not done. The unit is just left open for anyone to walk in. The smell of the unit was absolutely disgusting even with all doors and windows left open we had to constantly spray freshener which we went and bought ,no littke soaps or anything ,the grounds were very untidy for 160 a night we were appalled maybe 50 would of been reasonable very unhappy,never again.

A very quiet park to stay in.
We found everything was clean and tidy at the Sunlodge Oceanfront Tourist Park, and the Managers were very helpful and friendly. It's a very quiet spot where you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
Hervey Bay has so many things to see and do that we have planned another holiday up there to catch up on things we missed on this trip. A beautiful part of the world that everyone should make the time to go and stay in for a while, it's very hard to leave.

An amazing Beach side hide away
The host was amazing, very respectful amd courtious. The house was in exellent condition it had everything we needed. It was a very beautiful place warm freindly and peaceful.
You must see the sunset on the beach, go to the lakes to see the swans bike riding around town and visit harvey bay and Burrum heads Beautiful Places

This hotel was a great place to stay
It across the road from the beach. There was no phone in the room so need to make sure mobile phone is charged. It was clean but needed to ask for towel for the third person staying in this room even though booking was for 3 people and payment as well.
There are lots of things to do in Hervey Bay. Whale watching is a must. I found most cafes closed at 4pm and most resturants around 8pm so don't decide to eat late.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
The actual rooms were clean & tidy. The attitude of staff was dissapointing & the quality of the restaurant food was not up to the high prices being charged. If you are paying top restaurant prices then you don't want fatty tough over cooked steak & unfrozen pav patty for dessert. When asking about the items on offer in the compendulum they send you down the road to the takeaway that doesn't actually stock what you were after.
On check out you then get charged for mini bar items that you didn't consume. While checking out the attendent was on the phone telling an occupent that they can get back in the shower as the water has been turned back on, this being at around 8-30am when most people would be getting ready in the morning. The counter person & restaurant staff I felt could be trained in better customer service & the cleaners could wait until 10am before entering units for cleaning.
The service let it down, lack of any warmth & character from staff.
Whale watching definate must do. Whale song is a good trip but is the slowest boat so less time with the whales. The aquarium Reef World could need some dollars coming in, but is worth a look & the staff are great, keen to make you welcome. Gringo Mexican Cantina on esplanade is a great place for a meal. If you have a chance to go to Fraser make sure you go, superb place.
