Very enjoyable stay, property is lovely especially with a young family as close to the beach.
Can recommend Krystal Klear for a boat trip with lunch on an island but need good weather to do snorkelling. Enjoyed the free water park.

Sharon was the most gracious host and attended to all my needs. She offered to help arrange tours, which I did not take her up on. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable and she asssisted with travel logistics. A wonderful place to stay and I received a warm welcome!
Frasier Island was spectacular - I highly recommended seeing the island on foot with Footrprints on Frasier. This was a unique way to see the island firsthand and to truly experience the wonderments of nature that it had to offer.

The location is great but the unit was so old and dated, to make it worse, the bed was so hard we couldnt really sleep. The sliding door to the bathroom didnt work.

We are given room 510 over the restaurant below. It was noisy with the coming and going of the people in the restaurant. The hotel was not full so why were we given a noisy room. The noise started well before 6 a. And didn't finish until after 10 p. We paid our accommodation before arriving on our credit card. The receptionist took a swipe of our credit card but didn't explain why. When we booked out we then found out that 0 had been pre-authorised to our credit card and it will take 10 days to fall off.
There is no mini bar in the room therefore I find this pre-authorisation unacceptable. It was explained it was for any damage that may occur however if you have the credit card number why can't you do a telephone charge instead of a pre-authorisation if there is any damage. We now have to wait 10 days for it to clear. I work in the travel industry and would find it hard to recommend your hotel
Hervey Bay is great however we own property there and visit the town periodically.
